The NHTSA ranks Florida in the number two position in the nation with approximately 3,543 traffic fatalities, an increase of nine percent over the previous year. The state of California leads the nation with 4,329 traffic fatalities and Texas came in a close third with 3,504 traffic fatalities. It is safe to say that driving in a motor vehicle can be dangerous.
